We are pleased to announce that the Johnny Mars Foundation will be hosting its first fundraising event on Friday 20th October at the Taunton Rugby Club. The event will see Richard Huish Choir performing one of the songs written by Johnny Mars and seeing Johnny play alongside Freshly Squeezed, who have recently played at Joss Stone’s birthday party. Check them out with the link in rehearsals plus Sunshine Sunday will be playing.
An evening of amazing music and a chance to hear Johnny play as one of the world’s most respected harmonica players. Johnny has appeared on the Bananarama video, the Preachman, playing his harmonica alongside playing with the likes of BB King and the foundation wants to encourage playing music and singing/performing on a global stage for young people. Johnny, as musical director and mentor, is keen to share his love of music and this will be a huge opportunity for everyone to find out more about the aims of the Foundation and enjoy this great evening of musicians and singers coming together.
